In 1931, Mr Gabriel DANTON established the company 'Manufacture Textile du Centre' at Châtres Sur Cher in the center of France.
The brand 'DANTON' was registered in 1935 and the nice logo defined as it is still today: a red diamond with DANTON name written in such an original and remarkable font.The workshop was manufacturing workwear overalls, blousons, pants, cook’s jackets and pants, aprons for gardening.
For the last past years, Danton has been successfully developed in Japan. While keeping the spirit of french workwear, Japanese design has reshaped traditional styles.
